IDP 2007 - Tajikistan celebrated Love and Peace |

Love and Peace,
These were two keywords on our gatherings on the International Day of Peace, 21st of September at the Z.Shahidi Musem of Musical Culture. We linked that Day with the Year of Rumi, which is widely celebrated in Tajikistan. Participants –about forthy people- all brilliant experts of Rumi: schollars, poets, singers were singing the songs of Love and Peace. The doors very open for everybody. We were happy, that Sheyh Bashir Ahmad Dults could join us and be our dearest guest. He was one of the participants on International Conference on Jelaluddin Rumi. Sheyh Bashir told about the principles and activity of URI, which raised a great interest of the participants.
All participants greeted and congratulated him with the European award of 2005.
We had ‘mantu’ –a dish, which translaits from Tajiki as ‘I and You’, which sounds also as URI.
The music and singing created very open and harmonic atmosphere.
