The Charlotte CC didn't get pictures,  but we had a wonderful celebration in downtown Charlotte outdoors at noon on the 21st, in collaboration with our local interfaith group.

The speakers were Muslim,  Jewish, and Christian, representing Asian, African, Latino, and American cultures. Music,  violin, and singing added to the festivity.

Our new addition this year was a high school essay contest which recieved 135 entries.  The winner read her essay at the celebration.  Runner-up is beginning a peace club at his school.  We had 150 people in attendance, those who planned to come,  and others who just stopped by.

We have already met to plan next year's event.
