We are happy to welcome 16 new CCs to the URI Global network! All of these CCs have a unique and vital contribution to make to our work all over the world. Please read the short summaries of the invaluable work that our new URI members are engaged in and feel free to contact them if you wish to get involved.
New Jerusalem Ministry CC:
This CC is located in Cameroon, Africa and is working “to unite
different beliefs in the same sign of Love and Unity.” They
collaborate with the New Jerusalem Unity CC in Gabon to organize
discussions and meetings to fulfill their purpose.

CONSEJO INTERAMERICANO SOBRE LA ESPIRITUALIDAD INDÍGENA CISEI A.C:
This CC is located in Morelia, Michoacán, México and wants to offer
their new URI family “aspects of indigenous wisdom and culture from
academia, mystic, cosmic and practice oriented points of view.” They
are working in Mexico to create safe spaces for indigenous and
non-indigenous people to meet in order to foster respect and mutual
support as well as to revitalize the indigenous heritage of their
continent.

Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Ethics: This CC is located in
North America and has “humanitarian programs [that] are aimed at the
resolution of conflicts, the elimination of prejudice, and the
broadening of perspectives.” They have created a Peace Academy,
sponsored numerous forums and conferences, used technology to create
educational programs, as well as participated in and hosted an array of
other activities related to ethics and interfaith work.

People for Peace CC: This is a Multi-Regional CC that is
working to build relationships between people based on human
understanding rather than pre-judgments and prejudice. It is a network
of Peacebuilding trainers that has hosted a week-long Peacebuilding
training session in Cyprus.

Middle East Youth Network: This CC is working “to build a
network of young people of the Middle East with young people in the
West in order to learn from each other's traditions, religions and
cultures and to promote understanding and peaceful living with each
other.” They want to end the stereotypes about Muslims in the West and
Westerners in the Middle East, hoping to create an eternal ceasefire in
the future.

Mujeres Originarias en la Política Social y Comunitaria (MOPSYC):
This CC is a group of women in Buenos Aires, Argentina from a diverse
set of faiths. They are working so that the rights of women will be
known and also so that they can contribute to attain peace among human

TRUST WIN: This CC is located in the Middle East and its purpose
is “To build trust and understanding among Israeli and Palestinian

Women And Kids Education (WAKE) CC Pakistan: This CC works to
educate women and especially kids, to help old people, and to provide
counseling. They also work to alleviate illness and suffering, not
only through this education, but also by linking people to places where
they can get help.

National Commission for Inter religious Dialogue and Ecumenism (NCIDE):
According to this CC, “The commission is working among different
religious existing as Muslim, Christian, Hindus, Sikhs, Bahais and
others. On going regular dialogue between minorities and majorities is
a major highlight of the commission.” They host conferences, seminars,
