Rio de Janeiro, BrasilMIR CC (Rio Inter-Religious Movement CC) held its end of year event November  24, 2007, and it was a very nice and profound experience. Read the story also in Portuguese: www.uri.org/brasil.

From 2 to 11 pm more than 100 people dialogued, prayed, got to know better each other, ate and celebrated. The main theme was about Brazil and its spiritual destiny. Many religious groups have ideas about Brazilian predestination as a spiritual nation for the XXI Century.

This year MIR CC has completed 15 years and a book about its trajectory is being made by ISER – Institute of Religious Studies. The launch will happen on February 28th, 2008.
