During the last week of Ramadan, thirteen members of the Quested Peace CC went to a small village in Irbid City called SAL for their annual anti-poverty campaign. In this village, there are families who are suffering from deep poverty.

To help these familes, we prepared around 40 food packages to be distributed in this village. qp packages.jpgWe visited people house by house and met the families there. They were extremely grateful for our visit. They described their circumstances and told us that they are happy when they meet people that can share in their suffering.

boys standing together.jpg We met many children as well and had a lovely time with them. They were so helpful and happy for our visit. We delivered the packages within three hours, and, at the end, we wished a happy Eid for all the families. We promise not to make this visit the last one, and we will try our best to visit these families again and provide as much help as we can.

I will always remember that, with a smile drawn on people's faces, love and peace will continue to spread.
