Jordan CC Celebrates Iftar with Orphans Print E-mail

Ramadan is a blessed month for all Muslims around the world. In this holy month, charity work and donations are increased to spread some smiles among the poor and needy. For this occasion, the Quested Peace Cooperation Circle arranged for their first project during Ramadan to be celebrating Ramadan’s Iftar with orphans and needy children between the ages of 8 and 12.

They went to meet these orphans in Zarqa town, which is about a 1 hour drive from Amman.

They organized an entertainment program including games, songs, a talent show, cookies, distributions, etc. Members said that what impressed them the most was that some kids were reading verses from the Quran. We shared the readings and prayers for God in this blessed month with them.

"The Iftar meal was very touching with these small angels," said one meber. "We heard their hopes and what they were looking forward to in the future, and we advised them to not lose hope for a better future and God's will."

The way of good work is still continuous and the efforts are increasing to achieve more good...
