Amman, Jordan. On Friday, November 18th 8 members of Jordan’s Quested Peace CC visited Our Lady of Peace Centre in Amman.  As reported by CC member Shadi Barahmeh, this visit to the Centre, which works to increase Jordanians’ awareness of the problems faced by people with special needs, was made in an effort to “consolidate and deepen the concept of religious tolerance, brotherhood bonds and devoted citizenship among the Jordanian people.”  Together with the Centre plans were made to increase support for those facing mental and physical challenges through a work exchange between the two organizations and a charitable event set for December 17th.  This meeting also provided Quested Peace with an opportunity to learn more about the efforts of Mother Teresa missionary services throughout the world whose goals include “encouraging citizens to perform their duties towards individuals with special needs.”
