On February 29, 2008 Bishop Swing had the honor of giving the keynote address for the County of Santa Clara’s Office of Human Relations 36th annual Human Relations Awards ceremony.  The program celebrated the efforts of 13 individuals and organizations to promote understanding, respect, and equality for all the residents of Santa Clara County.  Bishop Swing was chosen for his life of working to further these qualities and in particular his role as founder/President of United Religions Initiative and our efforts to achieve the goals of the Office of Human Relations on a global scale.
