Reflections from URI members mourning the passing and celebrating the life of Global Council Trustee, T.D. Singh.

Hare Krishna! Hare Krishna! Hare! Hare! Rama! Rama!

… a leader of extraordinary vision, gentleness, determination, humility and generosity; the sort of leader our world so desperately needs.

He enjoyed his dialogues with Nobel laureates. He used to sing like a young boy.

Always an ambassador of peace, a visionary who dreamed a lot and a prophet of Vedantic lore.

Domo Arigato 1,000 times to the mitama spirit of T.D. Singh.

… to bring more and more people into this circle of love and light ...is what T.D. would have asked of us

TD was a good model of calmness and spirituality...May he rest in peace...

…no doubt that T.D. already is singing and dancing in the next world; and he would want us to sing and dance as well.

…hearing him sing and knowing that there was an angel in the room.

Over the years it has been a joy to share the URI journey with him. I don't know of anyone who more embodies URI's purpose.

He was a person who lived and breathed peace, justice and healing.

... traveling with him through different parts of India, including in Manipur, his home state. Everywhere he went, he was greeted with deep reverence and devotion; and he returned these graces to those he met.

… a dear friend and beloved colleague.

… It is up to us, rededicating ourselves in his memory, to continue with the work of peace justice and healing he and we care about so deeply.

T.D.'s gentle, humorous, and wise presence has been so much a part of Global Council Meetings for so many years, his absence will be keenly felt. 

May he be received into the loving arms of  Lord Krishna.

I felt like he was a true brother

He exercised visionary leadership in several fields, including interfaith/scientific dialogue and spiritual music and dance.

… a humble cheerful person

... we can come with more spiritual solidarity to fulfill the holy mission that he was winning with love and compassion.

… in Bali, we all felt so inspired with the peaceful heart.

I can still hear his melodious  singing   Shanti, Shanti,  Om Shanti..

…a gentle person who walked this earth with passion, music, and laughter in his soul.

... a spiritual giant who brought people of diverse faiths together to share in the vision of the URI in our parts of the world.

Maligayang paglalakbay patungo sa walang katapusang liwanag ng kaligayahan, kapayapaan, at pagmamahal, mahal na Maharaj!

… Dr. T. D. Singh was my leader. His wisdom, grace and humility have marked me deeply

I fondly remember many close encounters with him and enjoyed his innocence like a child inspite of his being highly learned and great leader of the Iskcon movement.

He led by example and by sharing his great spirit and  knowledge in such caring ways.

…a beacon of peace and harmony.

... most impressive--in the evening when he was sitting and playing and singing wonderful songs of Krishna.

 a great spiritual guru and advocate of peace, always cheerful and endearing and humble in sharing his knowledge.
 
We shall miss him greatly.

May all the love so strongly felt for T.D. wash back to comfort us all now at this time.

I have in my office a picture of the two of us on a boat on the Ganges. 
       T.D. has now gone to another river, on another boat, where he travels in peace, light and joy.
