Temple of Understanding

 The Temple of Understanding’s programmatic focus is interfaith education. We understand interfaith education to encompass curricula and methodologies through which individuals can learn about religious traditions outside of their own. Interfaith education also enables us to deepen our understanding of our own traditions, engaging both the commonalities that bring us together and the particularities that make us distinct. Interfaith education offers the capacity for profound personal and societal growth, which is essential to fostering and sustaining cultures of peace.

Multifaith

 MultiFaithNet is a self-access research, learning, information and dialogue tool, providing updated access to global electronic resources and interactions useful for study of world religious traditions and communities and the practice of inter-faith dialogue.

Passageways

In order to achieve our mission of nurturing the inner lives of
students and teachers, the PassageWays Institute creates
and disseminates programs that address the “inner life” of students, particularly their yearning for
meaning, purpose, integrity, deep connection and creativity.

 The Academy for Adult Interfaith Studies at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion offers a wide variety of non-credit courses in religious studies for the adult learner.
