Peacebuilding
URI is in the forefront of grassroots interfaith peacebuilding in the world. Through Cooperation Circle (CC) activities, a resource library, and the URI Interfaith Peacebuilding Guide, we are putting our commitment to peacebuilding into action. CCs address interfaith prejudice and violence in their communities and share best practices. URI’s library includes materials about peacebuilding skills, interfaith dialogue, youth organizing and anti-gun campaigning. The URI Interfaith Peacebuilding Guide is filled with activities specifically designed for people of diverse faith traditions and beliefs.
The 300-page Guide is available for download.

Cooperation Circle Network
The URI is a dynamic global network of Cooperation Circles. URI inspires the growth of CCs and provides for skill building and leadership development. URI connects CCs through regional support services, global communication and knowledge sharing, and regional and global assemblies. Special URI programs equip CCs with interfaith peacebuilding expertise, encourage widespread participation and leadership by young adults, and support cross-regional development in women’s leadership and indigenous wisdom and practice.

Youth
Young people are powerful energizers in the work of the URI in the world. Through innovative CC activity, lively dialogue on the Global Youth Email Exchange, involvement in the Interfaith Education Project and extensive organizing and networking engagements, URI is amplifying voices of hope, action and faith. Through the documentation of replicable projects and sharing of resources within the URI and among interfaith partners and civic organizers, we are ensuring that these voices remain clear and present in the years to come.
