Manila, Philippines. For the third consecutive year The Peacemakers’ Circle celebrated the
UN International Day of Peace (IDP) in Manila by co-organizing a public
celebration with the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation
Commission, the Association of Major Religious Superiors of the Philippines
(JPICC-AMRSP) and other member organizations of the UN-IDP convening
group. This year’s theme was: "All Ways, Always Peace!"

Buenos Aires, Argentina.
At Spring Day (September 21st for the world’s southern countries), and
Argentina’s Student Day; in which the sun enhanced the diversity of
colors, the International Day of Peace (IDP) was celebrated in the
Naciones Unidas (United Nations) Square, in Buenos Aires under the
motto "Let’s live a moment in Peace."

Ababa, Ethiopia. INTERFAITH PEACE-BUILDING INITIATIVE (IPI) CC, a
peace-building association with the aim of promoting enduring, daily
interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and to
create a culture of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all
living beings, upon the approval of its board members, presented the
first Peace Award of the Year to Professor Hizkias Assefa.
