The URI MENA 7th Annual Conference was held in Madaba, The City of MOSAICS, south east Jordan December 17-20, 2009, under the theme “Non Violent Education." The conference was attended by 50 participants from diverse religious traditions coming from 10 countries, a gathering of URI Cooperation Circles plus four potential CCs from Lebanon, Iraq and Israel. |

URI December Malawi Workshop |

United Religions Initiative Malawi conducted a two day meeting at the Nantipwiri pastoral Centre in Thyolo district. The workshop which has been described as an eye opener and encouraging drew participants from all regions of Malawi from the major faiths in Malawi namely Islam and Christianity. |

Brussels, Belgium. “So many really great people met from so many different places. It was exciting.”
These words sum up Europe’s most recent regional assembly. The URI European Executive Council CC hosted a highly successful regional assembly in Brussels, Belgium in September 2005. Participants representing several CCs and a wide diversity of people coming from 22 countries focused on reducing tensions, irritations and prejudices between European citizens of different convictions and religions.In addition to covering all aspects of the conference this report includes photos of the participants and activities.
