Interfaith Youth Leadership Retreat - Marin County, CA, USA 2009

A short video of the URI Interfaith Youth Leadership Retreat held at the Brahma Kumaris Anubhuti Retreat Center, Marin County, CA, USA, June 12-14, 2009. The retreat brought together 25 young people from college campuses in California, Colorado and Pennsylvania, and youth trainers from Jordan, UK and the US. They gathered together in a tranquil environment to relax, recharge and learn interfaith skills in working with faith communities, non-violent communication, and influencing policy.Video created by Some Day Fire Productions.

Trip to a Local Mosque: Terrorism and Peace in Kashmir

Young Leaders Program 2008: Zach Levine Reads an Interfaith Open Letter to Leaders of the World

During the URI Young Leaders Program in Mayapur, India in November 2008, a group of young people came together to respond to the bombings that took place in Mumbai while they were meeting. Together, they composed this letter that was read during the URI Global Assembly by Zach Levine, a Jewish young leader from California, USA. Short highlight video of the United Religions Initiative (URI) Young Leaders Program 2008, held in Mayapur, West Bengal, India, November 24-November 30, 2008. Young leaders from 35 countries convened in Mayapur, India for a five-day youth leadership intensive featuring workshops in interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding, environmental healing, and activities such as a local service project in a village school and an interfaith football match.
