Our purpose is to support and coordinate CC work in Europe and lead URI regional development in Europe.

The URI Europe team meets several times a year, mostly in Brussels for consultation and decision making. It brings together URI activists from Belgium, Catalonia/Spain, Germany and the UK. We work as volunteers with one part-time staff member. A new website was established in 2009 and a new format for the URI Europe Dialogue Letter developed. Plans are underway for a URI values survey involving all contact people of European CCs with a follow-up seminar in June 2010. A European URI Assembly in Istanbul/Turkey is planned for October 27-31, 2010, with a pre-conference for young leaders on October 24-27, 2010. We invite all CCs to participate in the values survey and follow-up seminar, so that we can build a strong URI network in Europe together. We also ask all CCs to send at least one member to the European URI Assembly in Istanbul, Turkey.

We have many dreams. Supporting URI is one of our precious dreams.
