Interfaith Students Movement of India CC

Our purpose is to promote harmonious co-existence among students, religions and all sections of the society.

This pioneering students' movement was started with the wholehearted support of URI leadership in South India Region. This organization is new and will work as an umbrella for various inter-faith student groups in different educational institutions. Programs include inter-faith dialogues, study of various religions and ideologies, youth exchange, programs to overcome violence, and peace building institutes. Leadership training, educational counseling, personality development, etc., are our chief programs. This is an association with great potential as the younger generation is the main target. It will go a long way in containing religious fanaticism and dangerous fundamentalism.
