Somalia is one of the most dangerous countries in the world in the way of intercultural issues. Because its people are mostly followers of Islam, SARDO stands to reunite Somalis from both the majority Islam and Christian minority groups.

SARDO´s mission is to create vibrant, impartial public dialogues among Somali Christian society and the Islamic community, domestically, so that it contributes to better sustainable peace practices and equitable national development and transformation.

SARDO is a not-for-profit organization based on a voluntary labor union representing religious leaders from both Islam and Christian minority groups. It supports the professional development of religion workers. Its main aim and function are to provide additional support services to improve the delivery of social welfare services to statutory and voluntary agencies involved in the religious work and social welfare fields.

VALUE: Better sustainable peace practice and equitable national development and transformation
