Daisy Berexa is a full-time volunteer and just received her Master of Science in International Relations and Business at the American University. She was previously a consultant and Subject Matter Expert in Liquidity, Stress Testing, and Securitizations. Her business experience includes consulting for Promontory Financial Group, being Head of Liquidity Management at MUFG Union Bank, and Managing Director for Promontory Asset Finance, as well as securitization, investment management, and credit roles at Banc of America Securities, Providian Financial, WestLb, and Charles Schwab Investment Management. Daisy is a Trustee of The University of Nebraska Foundation, was President of the Junior League of San Francisco from 2008-2010, and is a member of the Board of Managers of the Colonial Dames of Washington, DC.
Daisy was born in Colombia, South America, and is married to Steven Berexa, who recently retired as Global CIO for Equities at Allianz Global Investors. They participate in Renaissance Weekends and live in Arlington, Virginia, with their dog Zaza.
