At least 82 people have died in India, most of them in Sikkim, others in neighboring Bihar and West Bengal. The earthquake, which measured 6.8 on the Richter Scale and was centred on the Sikkim-Nepal border 64 kilometers north-west of Gangtok, is the region’s worst in 60 years. Among the toughest parts of the recovery is the operation to re-open National Highway 31A which connects Sikkim to the rest of the country, and is needed to bring in food and other supplies.

This is a time to pray for the families of those who have lost their love ones. The members of Rohini CC, North Zone, India, Dr. Veena Gaur with Dr. A.K Singh were the witness of this natural disaster and felt the same we all prayed together for all suffering people. We returned back on 21st of September. Our heart were full of pain on the celebration of International Day of Peace we prayed to almighty for all suffering people and to help us in Establishment of peace on earth once again, because "Peace comes from finding that those who you see as others, are what you see when you still can't see all the best that's in you, for in you is every human soul."
