URI Trustee and CC leader wins two awards

Kiran Bali, URI Global Council Trustee for Europe and member of Faith 2 Faith CC in Huddersfield, U.K. received the Social Entrepreneur of the Year prize from the Asian Diaspora's Achievement Awards in November.

The achievment awards honor individuals from Asian backgrounds for their contributions to economic, social and cultural development across the Asian community in the U.K. Kiran has led a number of causes as well as being a leading representative of the Hindu community in Huddersfield and the rest of her country.

Ms. Bali also received an award for outstanding individual contribution towards interfaith cooperation from the Huddersfield Interfaith Council.
