As the Director of Communications, Isabelle ensures that the work of all parts of URI are acknowledged and shared within the URI community and the public. She joined the URI team in June 2012, bringing over nine years of skills and experience: specializing in communications and marketing strategy, graphic design, content development and integrated media planning. Isabelle has lived and worked in five countries across four continents, spearheading communications and marketing programs for non-profits in Canada and South Africa. She holds a Bachelors Degree (Honours) in Media, Information and Technoculture from Western University, and completed her post-graduate work with a focus on Digital Graphic Design. Isabelle also sits on the board of FLAG, a Canadian foundation that provides education for underprivileged girls in the Philippines. An earnest cook, constant traveler and aspiring taiko drummer, she lives in San Francisco with her husband Noah.
