Matthew has a background in media production and has worked on diverse projects from corporate videos for businesses to broadcast drama with the BBC. He has been involved in youth work in the UK for many years, in both interfaith and single-faith, Catholic, environments. He has a keen interest in social justice projects and the experiences of young people in the world of work. Matthew joined URI as a volunteer supporting the Global Young Leaders Program (YLP), helping to organise the first international gathering of URI youth in Mayapur, India, in 2008. Since then he has been a Trustee on URI’s Global Council, trainer at YLP events and now serves as the Coordinator of International Youth Leadership Development.
