URI Africa Joins Nigerian officials & Clerics for Peace Prayers Following Attacks

Following a series of bloody attacks this past week, URI - Africa joined Muslim clerics & Nigerian officials in public prayers for peace.

The Golden Rule Day celebrated and Goodwill Ambassadors of the Golden Rule of 2011 announced

Since 2007, Interfaith Peace-building Initiative, a URI CC based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has celebrated the Golden Rule Day on April 5th. This year, they named three Golden Rule Ambassadors for their exemplary work promoting the Golden Rule: The Scout Movement, Mr. Paul McKenna of Scarboro Missions, and Wilhelm Schole International.

Representing URI, I took part in the seventh African  Development Forum (ADF VII) which was held in Addis Ababa at the United Nations Conference Center from October 10-15^th, 2010 under the theme of " Acting on Climate Change for Sustainable Development in Africa".
