Vivian Turuganan Baraguir is 27, a Muslim and an indigenous person of Maguindanao in the Philippines. She is a BCS graduate in Science in Public Administration with Organization and Management and this year she is taking a Masters in Peace and Development Studies (MPDS) at Mindanao State University-Graduate School. She currently works as Administrative Assistant at the office of the Municipal Mayor. She also does voluntary work with local Non-Governmental Organisations. As a youth ambassador Vivian wants to build partnerships between different religious communities in the Mindanao region in order to contribute to the peace process there. One of the activities she plans to conduct is a united prayer and candle lighting ceremony for peace. In her spare time she plays Badminton, Table Tennis and Bowling. She also loves singing and is working on her dancing!

ADOPT A SCHOOL OF PEACE PROJECT- is an intercultural and Interfaith Community Project where seven elementary schools will be given three component projects such as 1.) Training on Healthy Preparation of Snacks for Mothers; 2.) Culture of Peace Training for Teachers and 3.) Convergence of Services where each recipient school will receive free medical missions/medicines, bags, seedlings, feeding and tree planting. The source of funds is the Goldin Institute, Chicago and materialized by the Goldin Institute, Philippines and other partners of different offices in the ARMM like DepEd, DSWD, DTI, DOH, DA, 6th ID Phil.
