As we begin a new calendar year, it’s always good to pause, reflect and savor what we know and what we don’t know.

To start off 2015, the Marin Interfaith Council, a Cooperation Circle of URI, hosted an retreat entitled “Wisdom of Change” at Anubhuti Retreat Center. The retreat, lead by Rev. Kay Collette and Chaplain Nathaniel Vose, was very well received by the 28 attendees and some say it was one of the best retreats yet.

“Today was just delicious. I loved the interchange, said one of the attendees. “I didn’t realize until today how much I want more, more, more! The format of honest dialogue with clarification of concepts at a deeper level was just fascinating. and the beautiful guided practices enriched the day and did me much good.”

Vose and Collette lead us in contemplating upon the wisdom of change as well as a Buddhist and Christian conversation on wisdom, change, letting go and beginning anew.

Collette is a Presbyterian Minister and a Spiritual Director. Vose is a board-certified chaplain and an ordained Buddhist minister in the lineage of Thich Nhat Hanh.
