On 28th January, 2017, Palki Peace Cooperation Circle celebrated World Interfaith Harmony Week to fulfill our desire to establish ‘Love of the God, and Love of the Neighbour,’ and to promote harmony between all people regardless of their faith. The celebration was started with enlightening candles and prayers.

Like last year, we were able to celebrate with a midday meal of hotchpotch, potato curry, chutney and sweets for the destitute, irrespective of their caste, creed, colour, or religion. Since the celebration was a big deal, the preparation was started one day earlier. Our members and supporters took on a big role to fulfill the goal to establish peace among different people of various ages and religions. To fulfill our strong desire, we tried very hard at the time of demonetization.

The World Interfaith Harmony Week gives us a golden opportunity to fulfill our desires with this noble work. We are feeling blessed by feeding about 7,000 people. The programme was started around 10 a.m. and continued up to 5 p.m. (IST).

We also pray for their healthy life.
