Wisdom of Our Elders: Looking Back to Go Forward

Dear URI Community,

The Multiregion invites you to join us on Thursday March 23 at 10:00am PST for the first webinar in the new Sankofa Webinar Series: "Wisdom of Our Elders: Looking Back to Go Forward."

The work of interfaith peacebuilding can sometimes feel daunting. On a recent Multiregion call, a young CC leader asked "why should we do this work? We are not making money, and we are all worried about our future." Three interfaith elders will respond to this and other queries during our webinar, sharing lessons learned from their life experiences, and offering participants an opportunity to be inspired and recommit themselves to interfaith networking, bridging differences and making a difference in the world!

Our presenting elders will be:

- Bishop William E. Swing, Founder and President of URI and author of A Bishop’s Quest

- Joy Jinks, leader of the SAASE Cooperation Circle, the NOWTIME Radio CC, and author of Dynamic Aging: I Intend to Live Forever. So Far…So Good!

- PK McCary of Think Peace International, Inc. CC and author of the Black Bible Chronicles.

Register here. Even if you are unable to attend the webinar itself, we encourage you to register so that we can send you a link to the recording afterwards.
