Abhigyane Foundation celebrated Buddha Purnima with the special children (mentally challenged) of Asha Kiran, an organisation of the Delhi government at Rohini, New Delhi.

On this pious occasion, we invited Monk Ven. Vijay Anand Ji from Buddha Temple for chanting. He gave us wise thoughts of Lord Buddha.

Along with these special children, Akanksha Rana and Chhavi Sharma gave a performance of Indian Classical Dance.

The purpose of this program was to heal everyone by chanting and to encourage these kids.

"Our motto is Freedom through Education. We provide stationary, books, and library facilities to children in need. We also offer free-minded learning through educational trips, and try to make education more enjoyable. We run workshops in slum areas, orphanages, and for physically disabled groups to nurture the talent of students from lesser economically developed sections. Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world with peace and harmony."
