MAMRE Foundation Society is a very reputed NGO in the Kadapa District, socially mobilizing the tribal, schedule caste and “backward” classes to address the issues of “isolation” and “powerlessness” so that they are able to realize their food, income and social security needs themselves. Members have been engaged in community development projects for the past many years and they have a wonderful track record of undertaking several government. projects. They have excellent trainers who are experts in tribal development and they can play a very important role in uplifting grassroots communities. MAMRE Foundation has trained 14 field level animators/changemakers who are all from the tribal, scheduled caste and other backward communities. They have trained 16 farmer groups that cultivate around 10 hectares, and they provide regular village-level skill development trainings. They provide rural emergency health transportation (ambulance service) to reduce the death rate of mothers and children, and also to help accident victims. They run residential Bridge Course Centers for mentally challenged children. They promote water conservation programs. MAMRE Foundation has partnerships with other NGOs and government programs.
