Label: Purpose & Activities

URI’s Cooperation Circles are bridging decades of mistrust working across borders and across faiths to facilitate conflict resolution seminars in Cairo, organize interfaith service projects in Amman to help children, elders and the poor, and develop peacebuilding projects in the Palestinian Territory.

The many youth-led Cooperation Circles in the region, like Musaique, which brings together young adults through the international language of music, are focusing creatively on what people have in common, rather than what sets them apart.

  • Mamoun Khreisat, M.B.A., Coordinator for the Middle East and North AfricaMr. Khreisat heads the Global Trade Finance unit for a commercial bank in Amman, Jordan.
