URI Kids

A resource for educators and learners looking to find out more about different religions and traditions.

URI Kids was originally developed for the United Religions Initiative in 2002 by Debbie Gibbs and Dana Isaacs, educators from the United States. Debbie, a lifetime Episcopalian, has a deep interest in developing ways for children to learn more about their own religions and that of others. Dana's interest stems from a strong Jewish background and a love of helping students discover more about who they are and who they want to be.

This section attempts to introduce young people to the wonder and diversity of the world's religions and spiritual traditions. We have tried to present simple, straight forward, accurate information about the world's five major religions and many other smaller religions and spiritual traditions. We recognize the complexity and challenges of this task. Please feel free to contact us with your suggestions.
