ABC4ALL school celebrated the International Day of Peace

A beautiful and graceful festival celebration of 30th Anniversary of
International Day of Peace was held on 01.10.2011 at ABC4ALL School,
Lahore..  The event was organized by A Better Community for ALL
Pakistan-CC, Universal Peace and Harmony Forum and Global Healing
Initiative Pakistan with Collaboration of SEED, SIGHT and SHAAD
Organization.

Mr. Yuel Bhatti, Principal of ABC4ALL School and Founder/Coordinator
of A Better Community for ALL Pakistan. Welcome all the guests,
parents and reflect the Importance of IDP 2011. He said, that
International Day of Peace was announced 3oth years ago in 1981 by the
United Nations and every year we celebrated this day with great
enthusiasm and zeal of peace and love. As there is great need
especially in Pakistan and around the world. He said our every day is
peace day as due to the Dengue virus fever the school was closed so
today we are celebrated this great day in slum of Lahore with innocent
children of the school and around community. He also introduces the
School staff and conveys the message of Fr James Channan OP, URI
Pakistan Regional Coordinator for best wish for celebration as there
is great need of such program and ABC4ALL School continuing spreading
peace, love and harmony around underprivileged.  He invites Ms. Sajida
Ruheel, Headmistress of the School
to conduct the program.

Ms. Sajida Ruheel said we are so happy that different heads of the
organizations are in the program. The Guests were garlanded. She also
reflects the other academic activities of the school and thanks all
the students who will present their performance today’s peace show and

Miss Nazia Karmat and Miss Anum Riaz did their best for preparation of
celebration of International Day of Peace. I am thankful to our
Principal who is really Peace and Love Ambassador and spreading the
Peace and harmony through this school around community and with other
organizations. God Bless you all! The program was started with prayer
of - St. Francis of Assisi prayer led by:  Rizwan and Shaista student
of the School.

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let
me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt,
faith; Where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy. Oh, Divine Father, grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled asto console; To be understood, as to
understand; To be loved, as to love; For it is in giving that we
receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. And it is in dying
that we are born to eternal life.”

The student recites peace songs and Peace poems. They also present a
moving and inspiring Play/Drama wherein they show that all religions
are spreading the message of peace and love tough why the violence
every where??????  So let us pledge to be honest for forgiveness,
acceptance and tolerance end with me/us. This world is paradise but
struggling hard to ruin it badly so how we love nature…????  The
audience admired the presentation of peace show on the 30th
Anniversary of International National Day of Peace.

Mr. Younis Akhtar Tabsum, President of SHAAD Organization, Mr. Afzal
Pasha, Executive Director of SEED and Mr. Ishfaq Chaman, Director of
SIGHT organization said that we are so glad that ABC4ALL SCHOOL
provide us a chance that we are celebrating the International Day of
Peace with the innocent student who are seeking peace for their
education and are determined to be the Peace Ambassadors of this
world. The planet needs peace and harmony for especially in Pakistan
where there are certain challenges. The presentation of the student
our eyes that education is way to peace in practically. They admired
the students and teacher efforts for such a color, wonderful and
meaningful presentation through play/dram, peace song and poems. This
all credit goes to Mr. Yuel Bhatti Founder/Coordinator of A Better
community for ALL-Pakistan and his team.

Rev. Suneel Riaz Representative of Universal Peace and Harmony Forum
Convey the message of Rev.(Dr) Marcus Fida, Chairman of UMHF and
International Gospel Mission who is also International Personality for
healing and Peace Ministries as he as busy in very important meeting
he sent his Blessings and Prayers for today Peace event. I will share
today’s wonderful event with him. Tomorrow we are holding Peace Day
celebrating in I.G.M. Church and Rev.(Dr.) will present special sermon
on faith and peace.  Rev. Suneel prays for school management the
solidarity for country and unity among the Nations.

All the participants join in country flag ceremony by holding the
Country flag and sings to gather with peace songs by enlightened
candle. While Mr. Yuel Pray for Peace in the countries where there is
violence and wars May Peace Prevail be there and May Peace Prevail on
Earth!   May Peace Prevail in Pakistan and Pakistan live long and
Zinda bad.

Mr. Gulfam Sabir, Information Secretary of Global Healing Initiative
Pakistan concluded the colorful ceremony said that it is wonderful
evening which our team spent with oppressed children of slum. I
observed around school and admired actually this community is needed
for  such activities am very much impress with the dedication of
management in the profound leadership of Mr. Yuel, staff  and children
who are struggling hard to promote peace, love and harmony besides
their academic syllabus  in the areas. These students will be our
onward leader.  May God Bless ABC4ALL School and May you all flourish
rich in prompting peace and harmony and May we all be the instrument
