Biswadeb Chakraborty
Mr. Chakraborty holds master degree in management. Raised in a family with strong spiritual values and commitment. Since 1996 he has been involved in community organizing and serves in leadership role with Ektaan Cooperation Circle. Mr. Chakraborty is an accomplished musician and songwriter, dedicated to using music as a medium for awakening inner consciousness, building bridges of respect across social barriers, and uniting life on earth.

On the 28th September members of cooperation circles of United Religions Initiative Bangladesh meet to explore "Reconciiation and Global Unity". For the past few years we have been focusing to strengthen the interfaith network in Bangladesh to connect local activities with URI global platform.

Friendship through Raksha Bandhan
Namaste and Greetings! I send you all the very special ribbon to tie for our special bonding as it calls Raksha ( Ribbon for Protection) and Bandhan means Tie. So this day lets tie a ribbon for each other protection.

Raksha Bandhan ( Tie a ribbon for protection) observed
On the 13 th of August, here in the Eastern zone in India we observed the very special day call "Raksha Bandhan", it is a very significant day all over the country especially in Bengal when Tagore started this ritual at the time of crisis and tension among Muslin and Hindu. We have visited more than 500 people in 4 groups at various places to tie a ribbon which sysbolizes the fiendship and relationship to protect each other from any obstacles.
