The Inter Religious Council of Burundi was established in 2008 by religious leaders from the Christian, Protestant and Islamic faiths in Burundi. CC members embrace the United Religions Initiative’s principles as central to their work. They promote inter-religious cooperation to bring about peace through reconciliation, social justice and sustainable development.
