Introducing the 2024 URI Global Council Trustees

2024-2028 Trustees

The Global Council (GC) is URI's governing board of directors. The Global Council is charged with helping guide URI’s fulfillment of its mission, as well as stewarding and supporting its long-term sustainability and strategic growth.

Regional Global Council Trustees are democratically elected by the URI member groups, called Cooperation Circles, around the world. These new representatives are from Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East North Africa, Multiregion, and North America regions.

In addition to the regional Trustees, six At-Large Trustees join them.  At-large trustees ensure that the Global Council is composed of members with adequate and diverse professional skills and expertise to meet the legal and fiduciary obligations of the Global Council.

Please give a warm welcome to URI's newest Trustees as they start their volunteer service, adding to the rich diversity of skills and experience in URI's global network.
