Communications and Development Associate
Akidi Sharon Regina is a Development and Communications Associate with over seven years of experience in the non-profit sector. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication from Makerere University.
Akidi brings expertise in communications for development, creative storytelling, advocacy, organizational branding, and multimedia production. She is passionate about leveraging her skills to amplify stories of change, peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and the well-being of children, helping organizations connect with their communities and stakeholders meaningfully.
Since joining URI Global in March 2022, Akidi has contributed to strengthening the organization’s visibility and impact through innovative communications and development initiatives.
Outside of work, she enjoys photography, traveling, engaging conversations, and exploring new cultures. Akidi is based in Kampala, Uganda.
