Systems and Learning Associate

Angie joined URI in 2024 and serves as a Systems and Learning Associate within the Growth, Learning, and Impact Team. She leads global youth strategies and coordinates the Community and Youth Liaison programs in strengthening outreach, engagement, and network vitality across URI’s global community. Her role further includes managing data systems, contributing in learning design, supporting the SEAPac region, and nurturing the violence prevention network within URI.

Angie brings a strong background in research and applied learning from her experience as a Doctoral Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she specialized in global governance and human security, including refugee education policy and peace education. She holds a BA in Sociology and an MA in Conflict Resolution.

Previously, Angie has worked across international education student services, higher education admissions, state government, and security risks intelligence and mitigation strategies. Originally from Indonesia and shaped by nearly a decade in Massachusetts, USA, Angie brings deep intercultural and interfaith fluency to her work. 

Angie is also engaged in spiritually rooted practices that support individual and collective healing informed by meditation, embodied awareness, and interfaith wisdom. Outside of her URI roles, she teaches Pilates focused on scoliosis and rehabilitation with holistic integration, reflecting her commitment to care, learning, and service.
