2026–2030 Global Council Trustee for Europe
Dimitar Borumov is a political economist and educator who teaches Bulgarian History at and is vice principle of the ‘St. St. Cyril and Methodius’ Bulgarian School in the Netherlands.
He holds an MA in International Relations and a BA in International Studies, both from Leiden University, with a specialization in Global Political Economy.
Since joining the Bridges – Eastern European Forum for Dialogue Cooperation Circle in 2024, he has served as a youth leader, event organiser, and facilitator, and is a Certified URI Youth Facilitator supporting URI Europe’s youth camp and workshop programming.
He also writes as a columnist for The European Times. Borumov is committed to building interfaith cooperation grounded in environmental justice and dialogue across religious and cultural traditions.
