URI Africa Liaison - Cameroon
Emmanuel M. joined URI in 2023 as an intern and later became a volunteer in 2024. In 2025, he was selected as the Community Liaison for Cameroon. He helped increase the visibility of URI in Cameroon by engaging youths and organizations, clearly communicating URI’s mission, sharing opportunities for involvement, and guiding people on how to become active members.
Emmanuel is also a result-oriented researcher with experience in collecting, verifying, and recording information. He holds a BA and an MA in Law and Political Science.
Previously, Emmanuel did an internship with Cure Violence Global. He has also facilitated trainings on the public health approach to violence prevention, monitored and reported on triggers and levels of violence. Emmanuel brings experience in interfaith work, peacebuilding, and research into his work.
