URI SEAPac Liaison - Cambodia
In 2025, Leakna became part of the United Religions Initiative (URI), taking on the role of Community Liaison for the Southeast Asia and the Pacific (SEAPac) region in Cambodia. She is collaborating closely with interfaith partners, youth organizations, and local communities to promote regional peace initiatives and foster intercultural understanding.
In particular, Leakna works as an English teacher at a secondary school, enjoys making instructional films, and engages in community consulting by encouraging local ideas for change, helping individuals find their voice, and facilitating talks. Leakna is interested in genuine communication and peacebuilding. As background in public administration and English and has volunteered with Youth for Peace in the past.
Leakna, who resides and works in Koh Kong, maintains a laser-like focus on tiny, significant measures, bolstering regional alliances and local linkages that increase community cohesion and resilience.
