Global Youth Liaison
Tanya Sablok is a peacebuilding practitioner and programme leader with more than 11 years of experience working across youth leadership, interfaith cooperation, education, creative practice and community development. Her work spans grassroots, regional and international contexts, connecting people, ideas and diverse knowledge systems to create more inclusive and collaborative futures.
Tanya’s relationship with the United Religions Initiative (URI) began in the Asia–North India region, where she spent several years coordinating regional programmes and supporting grassroots interfaith networks. Her work included facilitating intercultural processes, mentoring young and community leaders, developing curricula and knowledge resources, and contributing to URI’s regional and global communications and publications.
Her practice has since expanded into expressive arts, regenerative education and systems-oriented approaches to learning and leadership. She draws on movement, storytelling, visual arts and participatory methods, alongside insights from nature, traditional knowledge and community-based learning. Immersive experiences in contemplative and regenerative communities have further shaped her understanding of ecological relationships, resilience and locally rooted approaches to transformation.
As Global Youth Liaison with URI, Tanya brings together her experience in peacebuilding, programme leadership, youth engagement and creative practice to help strengthen youth participation, connection and leadership across the global URI community.
