Youth Ambassador attends URI Africa and Great Lakes Regional Conference

23 August 2011

wow, it has been an exciting time in Kampala, Uganda. as we started the conference on "The Role of Religion to build peace, security and counter violent extremisn in Africa". It has been a time of change, new expereince and total paradigm shift as we engaged in each other on the future role of religions in the continent of Africa.

I have made quite a  lot of friends here and learnt a lot of lessons, bascially that all religions have a goiven spirit, all most all of them had a festival, ceremony or a law that says they should give and help the poor. and this is one of the commone grounds we can build on to breed peace on the earth.

The plenary sessions were really great and all sessions were full of deep insight and purposefully.

I would be blogging in full details, when I get back home and also post pictures of the forum. Interaction here is rich and deep, and it is a worthy expereince.
