What really matters!!

“The right to be heard, doesn’t include the right to be taken seriously”

No matter how much or for how long people talk, what really matters is the value of what you are saying. No matter how many people read what you are writing, how many people listen to your songs. What really remains in life is the value you put in . No matter how much money one makes, what really matters is how passionate he\she is about their career. Bill Gates gave up a great part of his money, yet his value has increased. Others have more money, yet the status diminishes. It is not how much we have, it is how happy we are about what we have and what we are doing. Mother Teresa owned nothing, however, she is still living in people’s heart. Her message is still spreading joy and peace.

Great art lives regardless of the immediate success or failure, great art is about time, and it always stands the test of time. Great artists always have passion for art, not for money.

Some people have the power and the position to speak to the public and send messages, yet history remembers very few. The few that really believed in man’s power to change the world for the better. Great messages live for ever. It is the power of beauty that remains for ever. The same applies to us, it is the value in our lives that remain, not the possession or the fancy life. It is how positive we can be, how effective the mission is. Every single act of kindness and love is what makes up our history. It is a building we are building everyday, till we get at a certain point at a certain age, and look back with such contentment and say, my journey has been so meaningful.

Reflecting on the Egyptian elections scene one can see clearly that Egypt was the last concern of so many candidates, they used slogans they never believed in, they are trying so vehemently to be part of the legislative council yet they intentionally break the elections law. Being part of something important can never make you so. The people’s assembly is only good if the members themselves are able to do their job efficiently.

America’s war against Iraq resulted in 4,486 US Soldiers Killed, 32,226 seriously wounded as well as billions of dollars, yet, ironically enough, no one can give a clear convincing account of the inevitability of this war. Was it worth it? A question that may stay lingering unanswered for long.

Turkey is defending the Syrians’ rights to be free, yet shamelessly denying the massacre against the Armenians in 1915.
