Hermana Niuska Reyes, a member of Círculo para el Diálogo CC in Venezuela, was a joyful nun, a wonderful friend and a sister & cousin to URI Latin America Coordinator Enoe Texier and staff in Venezuela, Adriana Reyes and Coromoto Texier.

She passed away yesterday.

Dear Sister Niuska Reyes joined us in the CC of URI Venezuela and in Luis Dolan´s Chair at the Central University. As a member of the Congregation of the Servants of the Lord, she was the first woman in the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference and Director of Sacred Museum where we were entertained in July 2012 when the meeting was held in Caracas with Charles Gibbs, Yoland Trevino, Maria Eugenia and the outgoing and incoming trustees.

Yesterday, May 21 she went to the arms of God and His Glory. She left us her example, her faith, her joy, her sacred impetus and the healing power of her words. We thank her for sharing her life with us. It is a big lost for us and for the world.

May her bright spirit shine from Heaven! May her music and wisdom be heard on Earth! May she intercede for URI and Peace with other members of our Celestial CC!

May she rest in Peace!
