In the Saint-Vincent church tonight, despite the dangerous roads (the weather was so bad that it was nearly impossible to move on the roads or to walk), many people attended our interfaith peace vigil. About 80 people joined us, including representatives from three mosques. It was a nice celebration with music and singing, prayers, wishes for peace, and readings. All the participants undersigned the Declaration on Compassion, inspired by K. Armstrong. People lit candles together.

"Building Bridges" was the central theme for the church, and was therefore a symbolic bridge between the participants. Remarkably, we saw that in almost all the texts of the various religions, the same core message of peace and mercy come forward.

People of various religions gave blessings from their traditions, and all those present signed a commitment to build bridges together.
