Women’s InterFaith Network Foundation CC presents a sacred music concert for victims of Japan earthquake

The Women’s InterFaith Network Foundation CC presents a Sacred Music Concert in aid of the victims of the Japan Earthquake at Collingwood College Auditorium on Cromwell Street in Collingwood on Sunday 19th June 2011 from 3pm to 5pm. The concerts line up includes: Dya Singh, Fuefukuro, Uncle Reg Blow, Parvyn, Josh Bennett, NIGGUN Collective (Jewish), Fo Guang Shan – Buddhist Lite International Victoria, various Gospel choirs and more.

This concert has brought together many organisations willing to help and support the cause including: URI, COMMON (Centre of Melbourne Multifaith & Others Network), GreenFaith Australia, Cultural Infusion and the list continues to grow.
This is a FREE concert and open to all.

All money being raised is being sent directly to United Sikhs who are on the ground in Japan, preparing and distributing food and essentials to those in need. More information on them can be found at: http://www.unitedsikhs.org/ 
 
We are encouraging people to raise money before the event individually or as a community and bring as much as they can to the event. Pre-donations are being accepted through WIN Foundation.
