The Weekly Shot: Hearing Women and Youth in The Philippines

For World Interfaith Harmony Week this year, Pakigdait, Inc. (a URI member group in The Philippines) held an interfaith listening session for women and youth living outside the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), whose voices are not often heard.

Members saw it as a good starting point to advance on the path to peace. “As an Interfaith Grassroots Peace-building Organization, we will do our best to package [their] concerns and sentiments, and humbly present them to the Provincial Local Government of Lanao Del Norte and the BARMM Government. Together, we can Talk and Walk for Peace.”
