Mithra Foundation, a URI group in Bhongiri, Telangana, India, is gathering and distributing essential mixed vegetables to poor families who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This allows the vulnerable population to maintain a healthy diet with proper nutrition and keep their immune systems strong.
Mithra Foundation's members are deeply involved in its work. As they describe themselves, "This is a group of dedicated volunteers who have proven that volunteerism at its best can create wonders among the rural people of the nation."
