Helping Rural Dalit Families in Nepal

URI member Deepak Kumar, with Dalit Right Society Parsa and Manoj Ram in Mawuhan, distributed rations to 14 Dalit, rural families so people can cook food. Most of the people who live there do not have stoves in their homes, and there is a lack of availability of wood, so many familes are hungry. (See the original post, written in Nepali, here.) The project was a special initiative of Smiles4millions Foundation, a URI member group in Nepal. Rations included rice, dal, oil, salt, potato, masala, salt, and soap.
