Dear Spiritual Siblings,
Greetings of peace and blessings. I hope this message finds you well in both health and spirit. In these deeply challenging and uncertain times, I wanted to reach out and share a message of hope, courage, resilience, prayer, and unity with all of you.
Across the globe, we witness suffering, conflict, and uncertainty touching countless lives. Yet, even amidst these trials, a powerful call for compassion, understanding, and togetherness continues to resonate. These qualities remind us of our shared humanity, inspired by the spirit of Ubuntu “I am because we are” and the timeless wisdom of the Golden Rule: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
At moments like these, it is more important than ever to remember the strength we find when we come together as members of the United Religions Initiative family. Let us hold fast to our faith in peace and find the courage to seek it within our hearts and through our collective actions, grounded in the preamble, purpose, and principles of URI.
May the Creator of the Universe help us raise our voices and hands in solidarity during this time of deep distress. Where there is fear, may peace prevail. Where violence threatens, may protection be granted. Where hearts ache, may comfort flow abundantly.
In the face of crisis, we come before the Almighty in humble prayer, seeking deliverance from the shadows cast by the darkness of war. We ask for divine intervention, peace, and safety for all innocent lives caught in conflict. We offer prayers for grieving families, for leaders to choose wisdom and diplomacy, and for the end of fear, violence, and oppression.
May kindness and determination guide us as we work to build bridges where divisions exist. Together, through patience, endurance, and resilience, and by standing united as citizens of the world, we can nurture healing and allow hope and peace to take root.
May peace, hope, justice, and compassion prevail on Earth.
In peace and gratitude
